I’m leaving for the Italian countryside to cook and eat for ten weeks. This collection of posts will give a little insight into life in Sicily, the importance of the culture of food, and why I want to spend my winter doing something totally unhinged. I’m bringing an open mind, an empty belly, and an eagerness for whatever comes my way.  And not that I’m going to be the next Julia Child, but she didn’t start cooking until she was 32 either..
